Is anyone running a Classic on 10.3.1.1949? I did 1151 on a Z30 and found it to be a bit buggy in several areas. Many Classic users have reported battery/charging issues, and I had similar experiences with the Z30. Just wondering how it's working out.

I'll take your word for it. That was one long review. All I know is this bad boy is staying in my pocket for good. Downloaded latest OS and Cobalt's Google play and have all I need....phonewise that is!!

Received my Classic on Wednesday and installed 1949 right away, even before the sim card for the 1st time. Running this leak since then, even the switch device from my old Z10 worked seamless and the full restore with all apps incl. The apps from playstore. (depending on the BlackBerry Link custom configurations)

Only issue I have so far is that I have to get use to this small keyboard with my fingertips and that some of the native build for BlackBerry apps may are not ready ported for the BlackBerry classic in generally and therefore not working yet, or can't be installed via BlackBerry world.

Other than that I would recommend the 1949 leak for the classic in definitely, had the pleasure to use the hybrid on my Z10 as well so yes it's great

    Oh yeah battery live!
Well compared to the Z10 the Classic is a marathon running device.

Have it on mine with no issues. The biggest differences are a device monitor that works and a camera that starts up faster, though low-light focusing is still an issue.

All is still good with me running the leak. No charging issues and phone runs super smooth.

The leak was installed before the phone was activated. No issues so far. Smooth and functional in all respects.

I would love to hear the difference between the stock OS and the leak especially if there any performance optimization and better android app support and performance.

How is the camera focusing? Still slow or is it improved? What about the speed of universal search?

Camera is greatly improved for me. Universal search is really fast. Keep in mind I used search very little previously and did not notice any slowness. Very happy with this leak.

So it's slower than with 1154 that came with the phone?

I haven't used 1154, I used 1151 but I find it as slow or slower.

My camera's always been fast even when other people reported theirs are slow. But with these last couple of leaks, my camera got really slow. Although one solution is to turn on flash
