Seidio Convert for me. I used it on my 9930 and 9900, and bought one for the Classic too. I dropped my Bold's dozens of times and they never took any damage. Phones are too expensive to not have good protection. I carry mine on my hip, so the holster just makes sense.

I'm not using any case and it's great. I did purchase the leather pocket so i plan on using that to keep in the car when driving but thats about it

Sounds like a good idea. When I had my Bold 9930 I was using the shell, along with the Bold 9000 case. Those two did some wonder for me. I wonder if that would work as well for the classic.

Lmao, I should have re-read my post. I made so many errors! Sorry! But yeah I am loving the sleeve and the shell combination. It works really well!

Some days it's the slim OEM case but this week I felt like going naked.

    A few people noticed too.

I like the "close hugging" cases like the Nillkin / Leevin case.

I bought two cases and wrote a quick post about them HERE in case you're interested.

I bought the body glove satin. It feels so nice but it does add a bit of bulk but seems like it'll protect the phone.

It has a nice lip at the front and the back for the camera.

Seems to me a lot depends on how hard you are personally on a phone. I got the OEM skin case too, and am fairly satisfied with it, but wish it had a simple flap attached to prevent the surface from scratches. But with the screen protector and my history of being pretty careful with my devices, I'm not looking to get a holster.

I have been using the genuine leather pocket for a little over 2 months now. It's the best case for me, but sadly it's showing signs of wearing out around the stitched edges. Moreover the right corner of the Classic's lower plastic portion has also some paint chipping off. I'm sure it's due to the leather sleeve.
Is the lower portion replaceable? If it is would start using it without case.

Just wanted to provide an update as I received my Leather Pocket case, really enjoying it. Offers the same amount of protection as the holster for those times when I'm not able to use the holster or for when I just want to keep my phone in my pants or coat pocket and has the added benefit of allowing the notification LED to be visible.

My only complaint? It took Canada Post nearly a week to deliver it via "express" shipping.

no case for me, maybe a holster or a belt pouch in summer when the jacket will stay at home on sunny days

I had my 9900 for 4 years as it was always in the case provided, so it was common knowledge to buy the classic leather case for this also (and love it)

I recommend getting some sort of protection though if you're not keen on the case

I've been using CaseFormers Armour since January. With my job, I need to have some protection for my Classic. It does add bulk to the Classic, and it also makes the Classic ugly. However, it does protect it very well! Last week I crawled under my old VW bug, while putting the engine back in it, and forgot I had my phone on my belt, and it got dragged in the grit under my car. I was fully expecting the case to be damaged along with my Classic. Cleaned the case, took out my phone and no damaged was done.

I also have, a OEM hoster for my Classic, when I do go out in a social environment, and I don't want it looking ugly.

Either oem leather swivel holster or going commando. Beautiful enough to go naked (the phone of course...not me)...

If you think that the Classic is heavy then your arm would have broken if you had my ancient "Blueberry "

LOL! I still have all my iBook Clamshells (collected every model and every color) as I was a major fanboy. I loved the Blueberry model, but the KeyLime Green 466 Mhz model, I still occasionally fire it up.
