same problem here also. reboot doesn't cure it either. Settings is disabled on mine so unable to do hard wipe/reset too.

blackberry classic. no rescent updates. just apps stopped working one at a time.now when I try to open them it just goes back to main screen. that's all I can say. hoping for some help, that's all. thought it might have happened to someone else. since I cant open any apps all Ive tried is restart.

Press and hold phone power button for 5 seconds. should fix your problem right up.

or hold up and down volume button at the same time for 10 seconds.

If you've already tried restarting your phone, I'm afraid you're looking at reloading your OS with an autoloader from your PC.

Back up your device first with Ultimate Backup from BlackBerry World.

Same happened to me a day after re-installing Signal through Google Play Store.. Could this be part of the problem? (Posted this in Q10-forum as well since someone there has the same problem)

I think the issue we are all experiencing is that all apps wont open, including Settings. so Settings > About doesn't work. My BB Classic was on the latest 10.x.x release as far as I know.Last message on Link I receive a week or so back was software was up-to-date.

Interestingly there are at least another 3 threads on this topic, all with users experiencing the issue in the last day or so. Mine was 1-April-2017

You can also type 'myver' here, and it will automatically fill in your version number after you press the space bar
