That's a well known issue with Yahoo and BB10. It may take several hours or even a day to setup. Additionally, I've seen issues where the account looses its sync and the user is forced to update the password.
Good luck.

I have one too. And it sucks. So slow and poorly organized. I just have way too many things going there, it makes it hard to completely switch. But I am slowly trying to migrate completely to outlook...

Go to the Yahoo Account Info page from your desktop
(Mobile only) tap the Menu icon .
Click Account Security.
Select Other App
then enter the name of your mobile device(Blackberry)
Then click generate.
A password would be generated.
Use that password as your yahoo mail password when configuring your yahoo mail on your blackberry device.
And that is all.... Cheers!
Added mine, no issues.
Never had a issue with Yahoo email on a BlackBerry .
After much research i finally solved the puzzle. Go to your yahoo setting online or on a tab disable block apps with less sequrity....and you can now add your yahoo account on any blackberry hub
I had to turn off security key

It's also affecting me as of now. Cannot believe it. I'll have to try and generate a damn password to keep it sync, hopefully those directions exist. I'll try the yahoo android applications and see. Hopefully they do not depend solely on play services just to get the damn password generated!
I tried all the ideas.
1) I can't find the area in account security to manage less secure device.
2) I did find a way of generating a 16 digit pass code but unhelpfully it suggests cutting and pasting the code onto the device. I am now waiting
3) It seems to have worked.
