Plan to carry my Classic AND 9900 for as long as possible. We'll see which one outlasts. .

Yes. I love this phone. When it dies I'll get another Classic, unless by then there are other options for a phone with PKB, toolbelt, and trackpad.

Nah I will be selling mine once the camera restrictions are lifted at work. Not because I need a camera but because I really need a larger screen! My eyes are getting worse with age. Every so often I charge my 9900 and ask myself "how in the H E L L" I managed with that tiny display!

Might get a passport to replace this. I do prefer a keyboard.

Virtual keyboards are just too damn much work. I'll stick with my Classic and my Q10. I only use a few aodroid apps so that's not really a concern.

...if people are still using Bold 9900s after all those years (believe me, I still see a lot of them in London!) don't see any reason why I can't use my Classic into 2017 and beyond - keyboard/hub/browser are perfect - the only long-term issue I have is the Whatsapp integration, which an Android side-load should help avoid!

    Thoughts?

Definitely! And why not. In pure simple words, the Classic is a perfect little beast. Tempts you to keep holding it all the time, and the keypad makes you want to type so very much.

Apart from one or two apps, all the major applications that I had in my Samsung Galaxy S5 are available. I see myself using the Classic for a few more years hopefully. I love to feel professional with this one and it looks really classy in your hands too! I just wish the developers pay more attention to the OS.

What do you guys like about your BlackBerry Classic?

I will probably use the Classic for the foreseeable future, it's irreplaceable for typing and good for music.

Typed and posted with one hand on my BlackBerry classic.

I think as long as speed stays good I will be using the device until at least October. If I'm not impressed with the new nexus or galaxy note 6 I will use it well into 2017.

I don't know about using it for "years". I will use it for a while until I decide whether or not I want to try the Priv.

Classic is an awesome phone. Great pkb, excellent battery life, super call quality. Does all I need done with ease and it just makes sense. A "no nonsense" phone.

I still run several legacy devices and ran my 9900 on my secondary line up until November, the Classic's browser is certainly adequate enough to make it several more years I'm confident... The BB10 OS is nearly perfect as per my tastes, the Classic itself is also near perfection, could definitely see myself running the Classic for several more years to come. I have another Classic brand new in the box ready to go in case my current daily driver goes down... Pending severe and critical security breaches that would put me at risk, i have no problem running the Classic until it ceases to serve its' purpose... I love it...

I could see myself using a lot of bb10 phones for years. They are relatively cheap now so I will most likely be stockpiling them. Goal is to have every color of the Passport, Classic and Leap.

I'll ride the Classic until the wheels fall off (or until my contract ends and there's another Classic-esque device out there).

The Classic is great and I see myself using it for a long time.

However, being a nonremovable / replaceable battery, that's my only concern as I know the battery life will depreciate!

It's such a great device and what it does, it does exceptionally well. Why wouldn't anyone use this phone, knowing it's limitations, but also knowing it's possibilities?

I'm using my Classic one year now and i loved it at the begining but during last 2 weeks i got disappointed...

    1. No Whatsapp (i dont care about sideloading and all this stuff, no hub intigration. I bought a BB because I wanted a phone that just works and where i dont have to sideload stuff and so on)

    2. I took my old 9900 as a second phone now and i noticed that its working much smoother than the classic. The classic calender for example is horrible. on the 9900 all the basic stuff works much faster.

The Priv is to expensive, dont want to spend so much money on a phone.
I am now relly considering geting the IPhone SE, never thought i will consider an Iphone...

I see Blackberry coming out with a Android classic very soon. The classic style device has always been blackberrys best selling device. I would probably prefer an android classic over the one I have now since it will be faster and have better apps.
