Why not? It has the minimal requirements.

The version of the Runtime is only one factor. There are many other compatibility issues at play.

    Because it just won't run....

BB10's Android Runtime is not 100% compatible with all Android apps. Folks have tired to get Clash to work, but no one has succeeded. Tried Cobalt's GPS, newer FDroid, Cobalt's patching, moving around some data stores....

Can it work on the passport?

It's a BB10 issue.... not a hardware issue. It's the same problem as a whole slew of apps that won't run on BB10, it's just not supported and the runtime doesn't offer 100% compatibility. Some Android apps will work, some won't....

You’ll need Android/iOS hardware if this specific application is that important to you.

Same OS, same android runtime limitations, same result.

I don't mean this to come off as a troll post, but sincerely, why would you want to try? I have a Classic that I use on wifi for email, calendar, etc, occasionally I'll pop the SIM in and use it for a day. But man, coming from a OnePlus 6T or even a KEY2LE, the Classic is a turtle. Everything about it is slow. I can't imagine trying to play a game on it.

Unless it was like Brick Breaker or chess or something.

Chess would actually make sense, given the speed of the game

No Supercell games work anymore as far as I know but they used to work. The speed is prob ok for Clash Royale / Clash of Clans but the small screen would be tough to deal with lol. A relatively inexpensive Android tablet in conjunction with a Classic is a good way to use the apps you like at home and have a nice communications device for when you are on the go.
