[CrackBerry Question]

Dear,

When I want to typ a message (SMS, email, other,...), and I press on 1 letter, on the device multiple letters appear, or the message is closed and the homepage appears.

For example:

Typing 'a'... becomes 'uaoera'.
Some other letters do function.

Typing 'q'... is the enter command

Pressing 'space bar'... the homepage appears.

It seems like the keyboard switched some commands.
How can I restore this?

Are you long pressing the letters? If so, check settings > shortcuts and speed dial

I think you've got a faulty unit though. Best to replace it. Rest assured, it's not a common problem.
