Sharing your mobile network connection using Internet tethering - How To - BlackBerry Z10 Smartphone - 10.0.0 and you will get the screen above. WiFi hotspot works as well.
Does he want to tether, or share his PC's internet connection? I'm interested in doing the latter, but I haven't seen a way to do this. It'd be nice to not have to worry about data use..
From the OP's post -- alluding to BB Desktop -- I'm certain he wants to use the Blackberry as a modem.
OK - I managed to get the Apps from BlackBerry World...
Using VPN on my Macbook Pro...
Get Internet on the laptop using Ethernet cable, use VPN on the laptop to change IP to a BlackBerry World serving country and then, share the laptop's connection on WiFi... Use WiFi on BlackBerry handset and log on to BlackBerry World and the job's done... Voila !!!

Maybe we are talking about different stuff here, but it is pretty easy:
Connect your phone via USB with the computer, on the BB10 device go to settings - networks and connections - internet modem (right at the bottom) - go through the mumbo jumbo and select USB before finally activating it. Works like a charm.
