I read this and was blown away:
Adobe Flash support is not included in BlackBerry ... - BlackBerry Support Community Forums

Theres a difference between "supported" and not even trying to run flash. Does the classic browser have an option to turn on "unsupported flash"?

My Q10 does a pretty good job with Flash, and although the future is html 5, the future is not reality today. A few key sites I enjoy are flash based and work great on the Q10.

10.3.1 does not support Flash. There is no native solution.

Need to install an Android Flash streamer browser like Puffin or Photon.

Your Q won't run flash either after it is updated to 10.3.1
Unfortunately BB decided to be stuck up and do this, so there's little we can say
However, quite a few streaming sites actually work because they have alternative protocols

Can you do a favor for me and check if tubeplus works on the classic? Just google: tubeplus suits
Or tubeplus (your fav tv show)

This sucks. There's still a lot of flash sites out there. Why not leave the option to view them? I hated that about Apple.

    It's a licensing cost.
    BlackBerry is saving money.
Also I think mobile flash is no longer developed so security is becoming a problem.

Agreed, running flash was a competitive advantage that kept me on Blackberry, and its a helping push when convincing people to get one over another phone... Blackberry just gave up a competitive advantage at a time when they need every inch they can get... brilliant move.

I hate that they did away with Flash.

BlackBerry 10's browser is now just like Safari, which isn't a good thing.

Many sports, movie, kid sites still run flash. Having the ability to run flash in desktop mode was a big benefit over the competition.

Yup, unfortunately a lot of these sites are a ways away from rewriting their functionality in HTML 5... it will eventually come, but they aren't going to because BLACKBERRY decided to stop supporting it, they will do it when people stop using desktops / laptops (which is happening, but its a few years out).

    This explains my problem.

I can't believe currently the Q10 has a more sophisticated browser. I wish I was able to import/export the browser from my Q10.

This is a major **** off for me because I bought the classic thinking it was very similar to the Q10

Streaming sites like stopstream, firstrowsports, wiziwig and vipbox no longer work now... Really pissed off about this and I hope a solution comes because I don't give a **** what people think, some people still use flash and rely on it.

Solutions have been posted already. Use a Flash streamer browser like Puffin or Photon.

Solutions that don't work are not solutions. Photon does't load the stream (just like the Blackberry Browser) and Puffin crashes as soon as you launch it... Great solution lol

I don't know what to say. It works fine for me, many other BlackBerry users, and over 10 million android users.

Flash is not dead. Adobe only ended Mobile Flash development. Flash is still viable (although still not very secure) on the desktop and will be supported for some time to come.

If you want to know if your websites use flash, just turn flash off in your browser settings and try it.

I've noticed only a few circumstances where i needed to turn flash back on. In most cases, websites load much quicker with flash disabled.

Puffin work great on mine for initial install and run only. But once I close it, it will crash on opening. But I found a solution till someone comes with a better solution. What I do after using it and closed, I go into Ghost commander and find that app. Open manager for that app and clear data only. It will restart the Puffin and work again. This way, it is ready for you the next time you fire it up. Yes, this is a pain, but it works if you need flash support on 10.3.1.1154. All setting on Puffin will be lost. I hope someone finds out how to get this run correctly, but I don't need flash often, but it is sure nice to have this when needed. I tired Puffin and Photon and Puffin seems to work better for smoothness. Oh, I used the free version and bought the paid version, but the opening crash didn't change. I hope this helps everyone.

No offense but Flash is already old-fashioned (and dead if I could say). Why would someone still need it these days? It's like using IE 6 while there were already good alternatives and much better. C'mon, it's 2015 in a few, I think it's time to move on!

That may be true, but there are still a large number of flash sites that some people still use.

One thing that would help tremendously would be for BlackBerry to have a selectable user agent for its browser. Many, many sites do have html5 capability, but do not switch to it because they are not familiar with the BlackBerry browser. I believe that is why BlackBerry had asked its betazone users for a list of "flash" sites - so they could investigate other means of mitigating the loss of flash.
