I'm with Straight Talk and pulled my sim from my LG 4G phone and put it in my Classic. My Classic tells me I'm roaming and, quite often, I can't make a call, and I miss a lot of calls. When I put it in my LG, I can make calls. This is so frustrating as I really want to use my BlackBerry. I hate android. Any help out there?

Straight Talk is CDMA, is your Classic GSM or CDMA? That should be the only problem. Hope you figure it out!

I am CDMA. My phone was a Verizon phone. I'm guessing it's because it's a global phone. I know ST does not allow roaming. I have tried the other settings in my phone like LTE/CDMA (made no difference), and even the 3G option (no service, only 911 calls allowed). I called them to see if I could put a 3g sim card in the phone. Unable to do that either. Guess it's just something I'm going to have to put up with if I want my BlackBerry. Thank you for replying.

Actually, now wondering if I can set my phone up for WiFi calling while at home. Have no idea how to do that, or if it's even possible.
