I tried the same for the Passport but they were all in a lower resolution, regardless of the source. So you either do that or find other backgrounds. :) I think...maybe there are more knowledgeable people on CB, but I couldn't find hi-res OS7 wallpapers.

Try these ones. There are two sizes, 720x720 and 960x720. The last one you may crop on your own taste.

Download (on PC), unzip (7z archive), copy to your pictures folder on the Classic, use it.
P.S.:
Uploaded a zip archive for download and unzip within the phone (the phone does not recognize 7z arhives). Download here.
