Reminds me of my first BlackBerry, the 7230. That was blue too. In it's day the 7230 was the bees' knees. I wasn't high enough up the food chain to rate a corporate issued BlackBerry so I got one myself. At that time it was a status symbol as well as the best platform on the planet. Nobody else did push email - not even the Palm Treo. BlackBerrys were bulletproof, had awesome multi-day battery life, and never froze or crashed.

I really, initially, didn't want the Blue Classic... But then this email came through via BlackBerry, reminding me today is the final day of the sale... Went online, looked over the Passport, Leap and Classic promotions once more, this time I felt like I wanted to hold the Blue... So I purchased it... I really won't have use for both and in the long run I will end up selling one (probably the blue) but for now the thrill of the unboxing is enough to captivate...

I agree... the picture I've attached (pulled from page one of this thread from another user) shows clearly a slab, not separate keys...

Yea but those are pre-production models that don't even have a BlackBerry logo on them.. so not really a benchmark.

Very true... My order shows a separation of keys. Guess I'll know the answer for sure when I unbox...

I feel as though the Purple lovers out there are always left out Pink, Red, Blue, Titanium, Black and White Berrys... Even a rumored bronze (ick)... But where are the purples? I'd even buy a horrid all touch device or use that chode called the Passport if it came in purple... Actually if they played the red Passport with a swapped out red for purple scheme I'd possibly have a change of heart on that beast... The power of purple is so misunderstood and equally underrepresented...

I believe the Blue is only available on Amazon via the Amazon Italy http://www.amazon.it/BlackBerry-Clas...UvbUpU11767089 which the CB article DID note it seems to be able to ship to the US for extra fee... I did a quick look and did not see the Blue posted on Amazon US... I ordered my blue via shopBlackBerry

hadnt even noticed the difference between the black and the blue when i ordered. now that i have though, I hope the blue one does have those line breaks between the buttons on the toolbelt. It looks awesome.

The blue classic's toolbelt isn't "separated". It's identical to the black/white - apart from the color. Info from an authorized reseller (who has blue classics on stock right now).
