I'm curious to know which BlackBerrys everyone has had prior that led you to your Classic or other bb10 device. These are the ones I've had in order:

7290, 8700g, 8520 (frost), Bold 9000, 9900, Q10, and now the Classic. My first 3 BlackBerrys were blue which makes the blue Classic tempting. The one I used the longest was probably the 8700g because I would switch back to it often. Other phones I used throughout were SideKicks (remember those?) and iPhones, my latest being the 6.

I started using a Curve 8350i from Nextel (not mine but used like if it was) and after a while it led me to buy my first BlackBerry, the 8520. I've always had multiple phones at a time, call me crazy, so having the 8520 as my main device for a really long time is saying a lot. After that I bought a used 9000 which I had to return because the guy who sold it had it reported as stolen. That lasted like a day and he gave me my money back. Then I got a Storm 2 which I also kept (and really enjoyed) for a long while. Along side the Storm I had an 8530 which I used on my secondary line. From there I went to iPhones and Androids until I got the Z10 and Q10. Both are currently retired, the Z10 due to the battery issue and the Q10 has been replaced with a different phone but still works great. I would like to say that the Storm 2 was by far my most favorite touch device BB had ever made. The Z10 is a close tie.

I started with the Z10, then Q10, then 9900, 9700, Passport, and now Classic.

Of these, I like the 9900 and the Classic the most.

I have (never felt like throwing electronics out - so they're still around in some moving boxes for the most part):

    6210 - in light blue
    7230 - in dark blue
    9700
    9800
    9850
    9900
    Z10
    Q10
    Classic (current main device)

I would prefer to use my 9700 again, since i absolutely love that one, and i can't stand touch screens - they're more a nuissance to me than anything else, but unfortunately getting a BIS priceplan is near-impossible where i live, so i'll have to stick to what i have

So far, I've owned the Z10 and the Passport. Currently taking a wait-and-see approach to determine whether my next phone will be a BlackBerry. It's all going to hinge on how well the Priv does and whether it sells well enough to keep the company's hardware division alive.

    Pearl 8100
    7100g

    Playbook
    Torch 9800
    Torch 9810
    Bold 9900
    Z10
    Q10
    Classic

I am currently still in possession of the Classic, but have resorted to using a iPhone 6plus 128gb until BB updates the native FB app. Call it silly, but I rely HEAVILY on this for work and family communication. The android ports are simply not cutting it. I would recommit to BB10 100% of the time if this one app is updated.

Side note..ZERO interest in the PRIV, to me it's another android, don't care how BB spins it.

Blackberry 8220 loved, would have never replaced if possible- could care less about having a giant screen.

Forced to get Curve 9315- just as happy with it- lost it & was forced to get Q10. Hate touch screen!!

Phone has issues now & of course now can't get another thru insurance, could live with Classic but there's no cell service where I live & until they make with wifi calling ability i'm stuck w semi broken Q10.

Have playbook but charging port broke over a year ago & haven't been able to find anyone who will touch it!
