Android doesn't run on devices with a 1:1 ratio so the classic is a non-starter

Yeah, I am getting a little bit worried about the browser. I only use the native one. As long as it holds up, we'll be able to perform most tasks.
This is my major worry. The native browser is holding up nicely for me so far. It was never has problematic as the PB browser, which was slow right from the get go. I have, however, read posts on CB of people having issues with the browser. Hopefully the browser continues to hold out and hopefully the upcoming update gets here sooner rather than later.

Blackberry, do the right thing, please, and provide a full Blackberry Android OS migration for the Classic via BB Link. If you care for your loyal customers, I strongly advise you make the effort.

Many Classic owners have bought their phones in the past year, unwittingly, yet you sublimely drop the bomb on us without warning by abruptly dropping the Classic. Now you expect us to dump an excellent USD200 phone after one year and go for some Alcatel hybrid called DTEK50 in 2017?

If you really want to see us drop you big time, then drop us Classic owners in the manner you are going about it right now. I predict a riot.
    When was the Priv released?
Classic was released just over a year ago and was specifically made for a specific target market and you like others fell into that target market. Yes BlackBerry waited a very long time to appease voices of BlackBerry users needing the toolbelt. Heck blog review sites and even bloomberg heralded the release BUT.

It just didn't align into BlackBerry's projections. Also specific OS builds to target a specific device. Yeah BlackBerry internally spent a lot of time and resources for the classic but the revenues just isn't there. Besides these forums although supposedly viewed by their employees most likely will not get done.

I'd like a similar solution for BlackBerry Android OS for Passport. But in the end BlackBerry does NOT, and NEVER WILL understamd part of the key to marketshare and keeping your users is going over and above the end dollar. The don't get that shifting OS and only for new sales devices and not negotiating with Google any potential abilities of offering to previously sold devices and even those still in the retail chain and still in production can go a very long way to keeping customers happy and keeping them for future sales is good.

OHA arguments aside I'm curios if such rules prevents them from arbitrarily leaking the tools to do so by the underground community and end users would be good.
