    I recently fried my Q10 by sending it for a swim. I bought a new classic and thought no problem because all of my old phone stuff is backed up on Blackberry Link, I'll just transfer the data including all contacts etc. Well being a dinosaur when it comes to technology I have somehow managed to wipe all the classic settings and replace with the Q10 - everything except the contacts which never did arrive.

    How do I restore the factory settings back to the classic?

    system setting - security and privacy - security wipe - link -reload os

    trouble is link thinks it is talking to my old phone, wont I just get its OS again or can I tell it to load the classic OS?
