I pre-ordered mine the day it went up on shopbb. I got an email with my purchase details that day, but my credit card still hasnt been charged (been over two weeks now). Is that normal?

Not sure.

I pre-ordered my classic from BlackBerry shop and was charged instantly.

I had a passport I bought from amazon. Returned after two weeks. It's a nice phone, but I'll stick with tradition.

Same here. Ordered the minute it was available and I still haven't been charged? I also got my receipt and order details though?

I am in Cali, so that might have something to do with it since Cali residents always have problems lol!

I'm in Ottawa and was charged almost immediately... verify your spam folder and if it's not there, call the online store...

Me too. I preordered one as soon as it went live but later canceled it. I purchased a 6+ and boy do I hate it. So I just preordered a Classic once again.

The price is a bit high in my opinion but if it works for me it will be worth it.

For me its reasonable to be honest. Even if the Passport sold at $499 (as it did a few weeks ago) due to the form factor, the Classic still is preferred.

I had a dream I received the Classic in the mail. I knew it wasn't December 17th yet. BlackBerry was surprising the people who preordered the phone by shipping it earlier than expected. The funny thing is that the phone felt kind of toyish. It was a cross between the Classic and a Playskool kid's phone. As I was reaching to use the trackpad I woke up. Lol

Just bit the bullet and pre-ordered the Classic.

It's been 5 years since I've owned a BlackBerry (Bold 9700); I've been an Android user since. I've missed my old Bold every year since then, so it'll be nice to finally be using a BB once again.

I can't believe I just spent $500 on a device whose specs haven't actually been confirmed yet... 7 days prior to launch. :-|
