Are people satisfied about the BlackBerry Classic? And would you recommend the Classic to me, or should I wait until a new device comes out? What is your opinion?

I would like another Classic with better specs, but as of right now, having a Q10 with a toolbelt is better than having a Q10 without one. So far I do really like the phone, really love the toolbelt's return.

I agree with Slagman. Specs are nice and I wouldn't refuse them, but my Classic suits my needs just fine.

Well, if this Classic doesn't sell, I doubt if we'll see another Blackberry.

The only way for Blackberry to expand is to attract new clients, the reason the Q20 kept the same specs is because of inventory they had the SOC to get rid of. Thus the name went from the Q10 to Classic. We haven't seen the successor to the #Q10 why do you think on Blackberry they compare the Classic to the Bold 9900 o_O now had the Q10 sold right they would have put better specs into the next model, this is a filler gap device hopefully they earn enough profit to bring in new current hardware.

I carry my device without a case so when people see me they know my beauty is as classic as my phone, blackberry classic get yours lmao

Depends what your needs are. I mainly use my phone for talk, text, emails, web browsing, and occasional youtube. It does a really good job.

Classic has way better keyboard than the Q10. Software wise it's the same. So I figure it's a s-esque upgrade (iphone5 and iphone5s sort of speak). I personally would upgrade for the sheer keyboard alone. But if budgets limited i'd say wait for Classic 2

Fully agree. Still wont get rid of my Q10 as its a very sleek device.

Another thing with the Classic, is the battery life. Its just great phenomenal, with an average of over 30 hours inbetween charge (moderate use).

Wow, that's one thing I haven't seen - this kind of battery life. I can get a full day with moderate use, assuming fully charged in the morning, but it definitely needs to go on a charger before I go to sleep. Pretty much my only complaint.

Get it! You will not be disappointed. I love mine.

Despite the specs being comparable to the q10, the device monitor tells me my CPU usage peaked at 26% in the last 2 days.
I'd consider myself an average user.
Blackberry Classic or wait for a new model?-img_20150204_061917_edit.png
I'm frequently sending and receiving emails, downloading attachments, viewing large PDFs(and leaving them in active frame for quick reference), transferring files between devices via bluetooth, music player runs constantly, crackberry10 app is running throughout the day, in the evenings I usually watch a bit of netflix, and last night I installed the new 10.3.1.2072 os.
So now you have an idea of what 26% gets you.

I take my Classic off the charger (fully charged) at 5am and don't need to place back on until 10am next day, where it will be dead.

If your on Verizon I wouldn't hold your breath for the Classic. I asked and asked, and still don't get a definitive "yes we're getting Classic" from them.

so I was a bit hesitant moving from the Q5&Z10 to the classic instead of the passport.

but it really does come together as a fun and powerful tool. there are a few wee bizare things but those are more bb10 things then classic.

screen is a good size, battery is good. keyboard is responsive and fast.

trackpad makes browsing the web painless on non mobile sites.

with 10.3 android apps load a ton faster as well.

however - terrible selection of casses at the moment. ( all I want is an otterbox for it : <
