I'm finding me BlackBerry classic touch screen un responsive a lot of the time. Just done a new update and it's still the same.
Difficulty closing apps, sometimes the whole screen freezes and I can do nothing.

Are you still having issues with this? I have not heard wide scale complaints about this issue so perhaps you just got a defective device, and it needs a warranty repair or replacement?

Could it be dust, greasy or sweaty fingers? It could also be that the device is busy doing something.

Try rebooting and see if that works

I have met with the same problem with you, too. My classic's touch screen will mess up from time to time. And I don't know the reason still.

Agree with others. Sounding like a warranty job. just out of curiosity, do keys & trackpad also lock up? Guys i work with once found themselves in an ultra low humidity environment where their 9900's capacitive touch screens got pretty flaky. Physical keys still worked fine, tho. Just a long shot. Best solution.... warranty.

My screen froze up at the end of day 2. Granted, I was really pushing the phone, opening and closing multiple apps in rapid succession to test out my keyboard shortcuts. Had to soft reboot. I think the culprit is 10.3.1 bugginess. I loaded .2558 recently and haven't seen as much random bugginess.

haven't had those problems but you do know you can use the trackpad buttons to shrink and close those apps right?
