    Battery: 2,515mAh

I think it all sounds accurate except for the processor and GPU. I think the earlier revision was closer to that, but in recent builds, I've seen the Classic paired with the internals of the Z30.

Dual Core 1.7 is the current, and check those camera specs. Otherwise it's about right. (Screen is LCD BTW)

5.1X2.8 is good for size. Almost a half inch shorter then Z30 and same width.

Very nice to hear about the possibly 1.7ghz with a 320 gpu. That's a very nice upgrade for my Q5

"And check those camera specs" that makes me a little worried sir. I'm hoping that there isn't a 5mp camera. Because Q10 owners will not be impressed. But will wiait and see what BlackBerry has in store for us

Soo excited to get my hands on both Passport and Classic

Are you implying the camera is better than the usual from the Z10/Q10. I've heard the rumor of the 13MP from the Passport being on the Classic and the picture quality being improved.

On the other hand, the camera unit looks nearly identical to the Q10 and we could just be seeing improvements in software.

Nice job working with Lucas and DTBlackBerry for those photos btw.

Beautiful design, (pure business) only thing that bothers me is... the design of the back.. i dunno why guys! it just looks 'cheap'

But i haven't owned a BB since the BOLD ERA! but i'm finally gonna jump boat and get this classic along with a 128GB SDXC

Rock on Blackberry! hope they will stick around and finally have the power to take on Apple/Samsung/Sony/Nokia in the far future.

Might depend on how "user" is defined.

Anyone hear anything about Paratek on this phone?

I think he says check camera specs because it said

    Front is 8MP
    Rear is 2MP

    Should be

    Rear 8MP
    Front 2MP

Oh my non removable and if you remove it you void your warranty...way to go Blackberry. Hopefully it's not the final model and they're revisting this decision. Also agreed the back looks very cheap but that doesn't mather phone will be in a case anyways.

It's decisions like this where I fail to understand Blackberry. Fixed battery is one of the biggest nogos and yet they implement it in something called classic so disappointed.

Not sure about this but it looks like non-removable battery means more juice. 2515MaH is a lot for such a small screen. The Z30 gets throught the day with ease. The Classic's screen is a lot smaller, so I don't see the issue of a non - removable battery. Of course everyone has their own needs, but I think the average user will be able to get through the day with the Classic.

Even if it isn't removable the latest snap shows that is won't be that hard to replace the battery. The pics make it look it's a snap on cover rather than a screwed in cover. So maybe they haven't made a decision about locking the battery into place.

If it is not too hard to remove the battery and not damage anything in the process, then I have no problem with Blackberry marketing the Classic as a device with a non-removal battery for the mainstream customers as long as others can get the hands on spare batteries.

At least this batt is within reach. Won't know till we get our hands on one but it MIGHT lend itself to aftermarket possibilities. Maybe. Various contacts probably mean NFC, maybe wireless charging, maybe part of Paratek array?? All of which would complicate back cover alterations. Irregardless, an encouraging revelation!

Now you can see the battery hhha

    Attachment 297380
Increase the picture and it says non user replacable doing so will void the warranty *lol* so what's next not offering spare batteries ?

Looks like all you have to do is get that orange strap off and remove the battery with a pincette

Yeah, the Note 4 at least has swappable battery and KILLER numbers. The stylus is interesting but seems like a two handed approach?? If i understand it all right. ?? Also, i kept loosing styluses for my old HP ipaq... ?? Trackpad is always there, single handed, if that's a consideration for your needs.
If you use the stylus yes but I've found out it also has a "one handed operation feature" but as always I for sure need to see both in reality and play around with them.

Already have the Z10, don't really want to side-step. Thought the Classic would have a better battery, OLED screen and a better camera.

I know it looks more like the q10 but the classic is pretty much replacing the q5 in the lineup.

The passport is the q10 replacement which seems to be confusing a few people's expectations.

No chance. The Classic is the new Q10. You're wrong. The Passport is a phablet that nobody is going to buy. It will probably bankrupt Deathberry once and for all.

this is starting to make sense now. what dosent make sense is why chen would have referred to the classic as "premium" if was never intended to be

How does everyone think the q10 or even the z30 were these "premium devices". Has anyone ever picked up an HTC one? It's not even close. Premium devices don't really exist in blackberry land. If premium device means top notch specs, then the passport will be the one and only premium device blackberry has ever made since the iphone. Sorry bold users I'm speaking to you too.
