Oddly, the latest version from Google Play seems to work fine on my device. (v4.9.0)

Never thought that I would use the Kindle app on the Classic, but I decided to download from Amazon store and try it. It installed without any problems and works pretty well.

Ok while playing with the classic today a random update launched and guess what the kindle app updated. Now I can access my books. Thanks guys!

Same here. And I do use it especially when I am on the go. I like simplicity. Less stuff to carry with me, lol

Hey, just a heads up.
I have been having a handset heating and battery drain problem and saw in a passport thread about the same problem that a few had linked it back to android kindle app. This app was the last app I installed before the problem came up. I have just removed it and will monitor to see if it returns.

I started using it when the Z10 first came out. When I switched over to the Classic last December I simply updated the app from BlackBerry World. I wonder if they removed it after OS 10.3.1 was released for all devices since the Amazon store is now available.

The Kindle app only shows in the Amazon store. Not sure if it was pulled from BlackBerry World since 10.3 came along.

I had no problems installing either, but keep an eye out for heating and battery drain.

How can I install Kindle on a Blackberry Classic? It's not in Blackberry World. The Amazon store does not give it to me and says I have to go to Blackberry World.
How does one use "Snap" or similar to get it? Never used Snap before.
Urgent because my company is offering me one of its last Classics for free.

Conbrio and undefinederror and others -- apparently from this and other threads, a Kindle app was available for the Classic a few months ago. Is there any way for you to send me the same install file? I'm NOT a blackberry maven so would need a bit of help to figure out how to get such a file onto the blackberry and then run it. But I'm willing to try and would prefer to get the app that actually runs on your Classic. (I am a PC person, not an Apple person, if that's relevant.) Thanks.
