Hi guys I needed my GPS to go some where and I have been having problems with it not connecting it keeps saying I need to go some where clearer to get GPS sigal it says that all the time but my other phones work fine any ideas

With my job, I use Blackberry Maps a fair amount as there are many times that I have to carry a route that I do not know. I have at times experienced something similar with Blackberry Maps showing just a road with no information or data. I've always blamed my carrier AT&T as being the source of it, as it appears to be a network issue. You might want to try to change your settings in Blackberry Maps under Route Options and try shutting off "use traffic enhanced routing" and see if it helps.

I've also been stuck in the middle of nowhere on basically a farmers road, where Blackberry Maps wouldn't display anything except the road. I actually used Blackberry Assistant and asked my location and it actually pulled both maps and data up. After closing Assistant, I tried Maps again, and it still wouldn't pull anything up.

If you have AT&T, its an issue on their end with their update that rolled though them.
If you sideload an os from here, it should relieve/ fix this issue.
It worked for me on my Passport when AT&T would do nothing to fix it.

You might try... loading GPS Status (BBerry World), More > Tools > Manage A-GPS state > reset. Clears your cache.
