Just letting y'all know! Pre-ordered the BlackBerry Classic yesterday at belsimpel.nl, a Dutch web shop. They just hit me with an e-mail minutes ago, stating that they expect the phone to be shipped around the 22nd of December. I ordered the Passport from them right after launch and they were pretty spot on with the expected shipping date.

I'm not. Classic will be Passport's sidekick ;D

I'm a fomer Bold 9000 & 9900 user. I didn't like the Q10 because I missed the trackpad, so the Classic is sort of a dream device for me. However, I can't imagine not using the Passport due to the large screen and battery life, but I do dislike its size and bulkyness when I'm out and have to pull out the device out of my pocket all the time.

And that's when the Classic comes in!

Wow! Vodafone Germany sells it for 360, beslist.nl for 420 and now Amazon.de for 430.

Might just cancel my order and sit it out since I have my Passport. Vodafone Germany doesn't deliver in The Netherlands and it picking it up at a store isn't possible either.

Belsimpel.nl has e-mailed me with a new expected shipping date which is more than 3 weeks later! I'm cancelling my order and finding a way to get it from Vodafone Germany instead.

Vodafone only delivers at a home address in Germany right? My German is very very bad, but I read that some phones can be picked up at shops and others can't.

I hope someone German (speaking) can elaborate on this =)

Great you will soon have Classic soon! The `strange` German QWERTZ keyboard is a no-go for me. I have ordered from CoolBlue and it is scheduled now for January 15th. instead of the end of this week...Too bad but I will bite the bullet and wait impatiently :-)

Are you sure about Qwertz? I'm not sure if those are even produced.

Googling model number PRD-59715-028, which is on the Amazon.de website shows that it is indeed the QWERTZ model.

It's QWERTY, without branding and they only ship to The Netherlands.
