Indeed. And for those so inclined, it will come with PMA wireless charging. Why PMA and why not Qi? Because the former is the horse AT&T has chosen to back.

My biggest question when?! I'm sure they already know the date, not sure why they would not just announce it today, along with everything else.

Question when and at what price?

AT&T seems to give $450 subsidy on iPhones. So following that the Classic should be $0.99, which I'm pretty sure it won't be, at least at first.

So it seems to be a better deal to just use a 2year upgrade to get another phone and then sell it. The way I calculate, I could make about $300-350 net doing just that in case of an iPhone6. Funds could be then applied towards classic.

The BB Classic won't get a $450 discount with 2 year. Probably more like 3-350

Typically when something like this gets posted internally and externally we have an answer to pricing and availability in a week or so.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy the phone outright, get off the contract and negotiate a better plan on a BYOD?
The last Z10 upgrade cost me $25/mo more or $300/yr x 2 years or $600 for a $225-250 outright phone.

Bought the Classic on Amazon yesterday, don't know if I can wait for the SQC100-2 ATT version with wireless charging.

It depends on what plan you have. For me, I've been with AT&T for over 10 years and never switched to the new "family share plans" so my grandfathered plan does not add any fee for using the upgrade and it really does work out in our favor. With the new style plans it would cost more per month when you upgrade...

i guess I got screwed never grandfather in been with ATT since 2006, somewhere when I added a device they took me off the old plans. Last spring I bitched about my $220/mo for 2 phone and went on the family plan with existing iPhone and BB9900 for $140 for a month for 3 lines. I made the mistake when the Z10 price dropped this summer and add it to my contract. By doing this it jumped my bill up $25/mo or $300/yr. So the Z10 is costing me $600.

I think for multiple lines the new plans might be better, but for me with only one line, the old style is definitely better.
