Uh, the 9900 does have a touch screen. . It's entirely possible you may never have noticed because the toolbelt, trackpad & keyboard shortcuts are so efficiently integrated that its touch interface is totally unnecessarily redundant.
99 owners are satisfied with the "tiny" screen because screenestate is never covered by thumbs. I never HAVE to touch the screen and so seeing it simply means holding the smaller screen closer... Go figure.... . Mostly the same with my Classic.
Oh, yes. That's touch screen on 9900, I remembered. However that was not my meant touch screen, which is more functions :-). Anyway, there're same reason as you list above then the 9900 does it job very well.

Just remember that if you're a user that uses a USB OTG or a person that changes and connects USB's to your phone for work or whatsoever, the Q10 won't support it.
It's hardware unfortunately and not a software exclusive feature.
I started out on a Q10 long time back. It was my first BlackBerry 10 device.
I shifted from it quite fast as I use a USB OTG a lot.
The Classic has support for it.
    Cheers.

So do you mean a Q10 cannot be charged via a Micro USB battery pack?

Depends on how much you want to spend and what the cost difference is in your area. Q10's are a great buy right now In my neck of the woods $80-$130, The Classic is $300 and up

I'm thinking about going from the Q10 to the Classic. There is a vendor on Ebay selling the Classic in black for $265. My Q10 is worth $100. So is it worth $165? Not for myself. If it were faster I would have gone for it---but I just don't see it.

Let me give another spin to this.

    Get a Q5.

It's like a hybrid of Classic (LCD, great battery minus tool bar) and Q10 (similar form and functionality, price advantage). If you are largely tied to apps from BlackBerry world, you could almost never tell any difference in terms of speed and performance among the 3. The only difference is the keyboard styling.

you forgot to mention the durability of this thing. my 1 year old is throwing it to the floor on a daily basis for months now and it is still like new

I like the Q10 more. I prefer the smaller screen of the Q10 compared to the Classic. I have no issues browsing the web or watching videos on my Q10.
