I think "most people" would have to be well over half to qualify. No?

What you're forgetting is that the 50% aren't evenly distributed - so from a European, South American, African or even Asian perspective (excl. China), the majority use Whatsapp.

You can Google Whatsapp distribution charts, and of course none of them are completely accurate, but here are two just to give you a picture:

I'm gonna keep using my Classic until it no longer works. I may consider an Android BB if they come out with one similar to the Classic with a keyboard. I've been reading the mercury will be like that

The Whatsapp Android app works fine on BB10, even new Whatsapp messages show up in the BB Hub. The only difference is, that you have to start Whatsapp to create and manage your messages as opposed to do this right from you Hub with the native app.

I'm not fully satisfied by any OS at the moment so I got used to carrying two phones and I'm switching between ios, android and bb10.

My Classic is slow and doesn't hold a charge a full day since android apps have become very resource hungry, so I'm mostly using a Passport.

IMO the Classic and the Passport are in the same boat. One is large and fast while the other is portable but it all depends on how long some critical apps continue to work on BB10's android runtime. I'm sure most had to give up some apps, but we can't compromise forever.

I think BB10 is still OK now, but by the end of 2017 very few people will still be using it.

I drove the classic for four months. It's a beauty, but the screen size compared to my passport, I just had a hard time. I do a ton of reading. Power on the passport, it just runs. I have the silver. Since using it again I dropped it three times. No dings. It probably dents the floor.

The classic is a good light phone, good for travel and summer shorts. Passport, I still think it beats the latest iphone. Good for the coat pockets I winter.

Very happy with the Classic and the Passport here. Mostly use the Classic now due to an accident, Passport needs both hands so stays at home. Find less distracted using the BlackBerry phones than my former IPhone. The entertainment apps went to the Ipad.

Classic is enough for me to daily use - I just switched from Bold 9900.
Otherwise I could continue use 9900. Hah.

Without keyboard, iOS is better than android. - my experience.

Never used whatsapp and I don't know anybody who is on it. Not having whatsapp is not a problem for me. In fact I just bought my classic last month because I wanted one last bb10 os phone with keyboard before they're gone for good. I had wanted another Q10 but finding one new is as rare as hens teeth so...

Staying with my Classic and BB10 indefinitely. I have two Classics. Thinking about buying future Mercury/DTEK70 if it will indeed have QWERTY and good camera. If only I could modify it to work on BB10 instead of announced Android 7.

I'm rocking the Classic and BB10 as a whole until the wheels fall off.

People leaving because of WA when there are literally a million and one other functions that do the same thing like email, FB messenger, Viber, and the good old fashioned text message.

I'm not saying to be loyal to BlackBerry, but to leave because of one APP, seems a little nutty to me.

I'll stick with the classic for a little while longer, primarily because I dropped my passport and destroyed my screen. I still love the way it handles emails even though the double typing is starting to annoy me

Hey, can you guys tell about BlackBerry Classic battery life? Is it enough for your daily usage? How often do you charge it?

Currently using Passport SE, great phone, but thinking to switch to Classic.
    What do you think?

I easily make a full day with low-medium useage e.g light browsing, 10 mins of youtube, calls and texts, wifi on etc. If I dont use the phone for a while e.g standby with no wifi then I could stretch to 1.5 days on a single charge.
