Hi All,
I've been a BB user for business for quite some time. I received the Classic (upgrade from the Q10) in late December and had no problems. Randomly, it shut off on Friday night and I am unable to start it back up both by trying the top power button and by holding down the volume up/down buttons on the side. I tried plugging it into wall power to no avail and finally to my PC to see if I could wipe it and start from scratch. I called BB Support and they are sending me a box to ship the handset back for repairs but ideally, I would like to try and fix this problem myself.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas for a fix?

I did indeed keep it. Luckily, Amazon has agreed to send me a new replacement handset. Should be here tomorrow...

Did Amazon hassle you at all about the return? Just curious how there customer service is in situations like that....

Amazon didn't give me a problem. Funny thing is, the BB Support Desk's envelope with the return for repair materials arrived with the Amazon shipment. No need to send this phone to Canada, I'll just be sending the dead unit directly back to Amazon.
