When the screen is off can you press the trackpad to turn it on or do you have to press the lock button on the top (or swipe up) like on the Q10?
Pressing the trackpad will turn the screen on. I actually don't like that it does because I am constantly turning the screen on accidentally.

Apps? Hold both volume buttons will capture a screenshot, native to the OS. Any apps you've downloaded claiming to help with that, uninstall them now, most likely just there to mine your information like the million flashlight apps out there...

Just to be clear, you're not simply "pressing" the volume button right? You are HOLDING both volume up AND volume down at the same time right?

    Oh ok, good. :-)

If they made it to work by just holding one volume button your phone would be full of accidental screenshots, lol. Plus, holding the volume keys individually is the shortcut to skip or replay songs while using the media player.

Is the trackpad audible roll option there on the classic? Like BBOS?

You mean the klick? No. I hope they implement it in the near future. It's helpful for orientation purposes.

Does the trackpad work when you're wearing gloves (like the pre-BB10 devices) or does it use a touchscreen-like surface that only works with skin? (it's currently -24C outside here and I don't like having to take off my gloves to use my Q10!)

(I'm actually looking forward to a lower PPI because I always have such a hard time clicking on the right link in webpages and the right icon in apps/games, what with my fat finger obscuring the thing I'm aiming for.)

Trackpad is optical like legacy devices, not capacitive.

Thanks. That's a question I frequently ask because I can never remember if I found the answer. Hopefully I won't forget again!

This is awesome. I just wanted to add that the Verizon version cost $400 not $450. At least that's what I was charged.
