Hopping phones lately.. Recently got a KeyOne but got rid of it. Form factor just not right. Didn't feel good in the hands, too big imo and more. Also really missed BB10 even though I know it's on it's way out. Picked up a new Classic cheap online and guess I'm going to rock it until I can't. Snagged a couple Qi wireless chargers cheap for it too. Anyone else sticking with the classic ?

Yes, I am back on my Classic as well from the keyOne. I swap back and forth every couple of weeks.

Yep the Classic is still the daily driver .the keyboard is so amazing in design that I cannot put it away for more than a day!

I use the Classic the most out of the collection of a Q10 and a Passport!

I use the Passport as a tablet on WiFi and the Q10 as a traveler device and backup, also use the Q10 as a small pocketable music player for Spotify and mp3s when exercising too!

I'm just hoping it lasts awhile for at least my basic usage (voice, text, gmail, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube) one way or another. Love the form factor and the keyboard is great! Also missed the qi wireless charging which is convenient.

I have been shopping around lately and trying out different phones but just can't pull the trigger on one. I just like the classic so much that it's hard to get a device I like less just because I can run whatever apps I want to with no limit. I also get nervous about leaving the physical keyboard since the last time that I left it was a very frustrating. I like getting the "is that a blackberry?" comment too from people who think the only companies that makes phones is apple or samsung. That might be the number one reason I don't switch... I don't want to join the group that follows them blindly.

Not here. Had a Classic but I just cannot get a key work-related app running, so I'm firmly in the BB Android camp now.

Don't care how great BB10 and the Classic are, it doesn't meet my needs any more.

Evan though blackberry is slowly shutting the blackberry app world
Just go into settings and turn on allow apps from other sources and download the App Store called “1 mobile market “
All the same apps as google play store and much more.
Granted not all will work but it’s much easier then messing with installing the google play store.

    I wouldn't trust 1mobile market. Malware-infested, as per the threads/discussions here.
Much safer to download at apkmirror.

K1 user here, used to have a Classic.

Just curious, if you buy a Classic locked to Bell or Rogers and then unlock it, will it start receiving the same updates as unlocked devices bought from BlackBerry? Or are you still relegated to the update cycle/availability of those service providers?

No idea. But you could just use an autoloader to load the latest OS.

I agree. Hub and Calendar are reliable. Notification acts exactly and doesn't fail.
User interface is simple and enough.

    I love OS10.

I recently bought a Priv, and although it's a really good device (compared to other non-PKB Android phones), NOTHING can match the perfection / smoothness / usability of BB10... so I'll keep the Priv in its box until my Classic becomes completely unusable for any reason.

IMO, the Classic's toolbelt, trackpad, top-notch keyboard and compact size are symbols of productivity.

I, too, just recently went back to using a Classic again and I must say, it just feels right. I'll probably stick with it as my sole device for a couple months.
