Hello,everyone. I was a blackberry user. But shifted to IOS. Now I'm back,coz it sucks. Now I'm facing issues with Facebook. First of all,news is not loading. There's just a dot at the end. I can see only few posts,before that dot. And there's a blur in posts. May be because of classic's screen size. But, this is annoying. Any help?

But I think it'll consume more battery. And I think it takes more time to load. I'm not sure,but just thinking.

Yep facebook lite has all the functions that facebook should. the only annoying thing is that it won't hold where you last looked sometimes. It'll reload the app when you go to open it again and it'll put you back at the top. Otherwise the blackberry app for facebook is absolutely shameful. It doesn't show group feeds, comment replys, and sometimes it doesn't even load things. The only functionality it has is notifications and messenger in the hub.
The current version of facebook on Google play just force closes unfortunately and it used to work great. If you search for version 28.0.0.20.16 and download the apk it works pretty good for an actual facebook app. The only problem with it though is you can't see actual replys to your comments. I'm still trying to look for the latest version that works with our phones.

I have the BlackBerry Facebook app and it works well 96% of the time. Sometimes shared posts don't appear on my BlackBerry version of Facebook, but appear on the desktop version.... very strange.... no consistency

I have my 'backup Facebook' as a shortcut on my home screen to the mobile site...even uses the same icon and tag as the app. Works just fine.
Just login to the mobile site, right overflow menu, add to homescreen.

Google Facebook for Android version 28.0.0.20.16. It's the last version that works on BlackBerry 10. It works pretty good. Much the same as the native BlackBerry version, but with more functionality. If you want to use Messenger too, I would suggest version 25.0.0.17.14. It will work with the above version of Facebook.

I have used it. No... it will not consume much battery. Maybe a little bit more and it is not that much. Loading is good, instantly, just like native apps. You can't load video for Facebook lite version.

I also use the mobile site. The app is good tohave to upload photos but for browsing, the mobile site is best

Yup, Facebook mobile site has been improved a lot compared to before. If you don't want the Facebook Lite version, you can just use the stock browser to browse Facebook mobile site.

browser version is very nice., I'm using it..solves my problem.,but I hope facebook should do something about this issue.. thanks to all..:laughing:
The only problem with the mobile Facebook site is that there's no quick way to get back to the top of the page.

I don't use Facebook, but can't you just press 'T'? Pressing' T' takes me right to the top of a webpage... 'B' to the bottom of a page...

Disregard, I just saw your signature and you are using a Z30... PKB shortcuts won't help, I suppose... Maybe there's a similar shortcut though for your device...?

That's also my issue with bb10 it's waaaaaaaaaaay behind fb apps with ios and android. No fb messenger, no stickers, no nothing.

So yesterday morning I went through and downloaded every facebook apk version starting with the latest one until I came across the one that actually works. 31.0.0.20.13 is where it would actually start up and let you log in. It has full functionality but it lags a lot. So I went with the next oldest 30.0.0.19.17 and it still works the same but it's more smooth. That's the one I'm currently using.

Long press, choose the trash can icon, and finally select 'Delete'. Once the app is gone, go to your computer, log in to facebook, find the option to 'delete account'. Once this is done all your problems will be history.

Except, welcome to reality, where this application is used for personal and business communication. A statement like this is both immature and illogical. Move along. This is the NUMBER ONE most downloaded and used application across mobile platforms. Blackberry needs to get their act together with this, and fast.
Tried this version, and it was slow and laggy as sh!t on my Z30. Went back to 28.0.0.20.16. Works much smoother.

Generally if I see an FB notification in the hub and it says such a person liked my shared post I don't bother looking cause it's the shared posts that don't display. If I want to see a shared post comment I just go to the web browser which I have open all the time anyway and look there. It's is an inconvenience but it's is minor in my opinion. Everything else works fine.
I do love how I can status update or compose a message from the hub without opening FB
