    Apps Not Opening-img_20160807_135227.png

Some of my Apps fail to open when I attempt to launch it. The last thing I see is a Progress Bar (see attached pic) and then that screen cancels out and returns to Main Menu...

this usually happens after you load a different OS. Did you load a separate Android runtime? Something that doesn't come with the OS? If you give on Android app the time and it opens, the rest will be fine.

What OS are you on? From where did you get the Runtime? There may be a mismatch.

You didn't answer the question. What OS are you on?

There's the problem. The updated Android Runtime is not compatible with your OS. You will need to reload your OS with Link, or run an autoloader.

Does this require a security wipe or any backups prior to doing? Where is the link and which OS version needed to re-install?

    What device do you have?

It would be best to do a clean install without restoring your information.

Then you want 10.3.2.2813. Best for physical keyboard devices.

The Classic autoloader is the same as the Z30. Download from here:

    /bb10-leaked-beta-os-f395/blackberry-os-archive-943672/

Download to PC, unzip, plug in your device, run autoloader.

When I updated to my current OS I did not have to do any kind of install. What do you mean by "clean" install?

Clean means loading an OS onto your device and wiping to factory settings.

Does wiping mean losing all my installed Apps and files? Would the device be reset to as if I just purchased it? I have blackberry Manager on my PC but I'm not too good at using it. Maybe I can use the back up pro to save everything to Mem card if I need to..

Yes it will be wiped completely. Use Ultimate Backup or Backup Pro from Blackberry world. Do not use Link as I find it causes more trouble than it solves.

Thanks for letting me know. I am using backup pro now but I don't see checkbox options to backup individual apps. Just the basic apps are shown in this list ( calendar, remember, music, etc). How do I back up image of my system so that all apps will be in place when I restore?
    Thanks.

Is there a way to auto-organize all my installed Apps Exe / installation files into one folder / area for re-installation later?
