    Hi Everyone,
Which version of the Google Maps are you using right now? I had problems with several versions of Google maps on my Z30 until I finally found one that works fine, now I don't remember which one it was.

    Thanks!

I'm using the latest Google Maps. It's working well for me. Takes about 3-5 seconds to start up but then it runs pretty well.

The latest version works on my Q10. I have not tested on my Classic yet.

Read Cobalt's thread on android, download his patch files and then you can use the app store! Sorry I was just lucky I got it to work but I'm sure if I can do it everyone can!

Thank you everyone for the replies, it was pleasure to see google maps work straight out of the box without any patches on my new Classic.
It was hell to get it working on my Z30, I could never get it to work properly, finally after many versions and trial and errors, I was able to get a patched one to finally disable "Google Services" nag message, but with new Classic, I didn't have to, worked right away.

Where are you getting Google maps from? It's not on the BlackBerry world app store.
You need to get Snap loaded on your blackberry.
Snap - Red Light Of Love, Ltd. (instructions on the page)

Alternatively, you can use APK Downloader [Latest] Download Directly | Chrome Extension v3 (Evozi Official) to grab the google maps apk and directly install on your device (the version at Evozi may not be the latest version but it's a copy of one of the versions cached from play store)

Read Cobalt's thread on android, download his patch files and then you can use the app store! Sorry I was just lucky I got it to work but I'm sure if I can do it everyone can!
Thanks, didn't need to patch, and I prefer to use Snap instead of going through the trouble of trying to get google play store to work on BB. Snap is great, %100 compatible and lightweight.

I do, however, have other apps that worked on Z30 without issues give me the "google services" nag. Does getting google services apk disable the nag screen?

How does it work without a patch? I'm on 10.3.1.1779 at the moment and I have snap.

It works fine without nag screen, but one downside, you cannot save maps offline or into cache because now the latest version requires you to login before it can save maps to phone.

Otherwise, the usual limitations still apply like you cannot see your custom maps or contacts, etc. I don't really mind much of this except I would really like to see my custom maps, so I use browser for that for now.

Check the OS versions I use in my signature.

I've never used a saved map but I'm heavily dependent on my saved locations, without them GM isn't really worth using IMHO. And now on my new Classic in addition to not allowing me to save locations or access my account's previously saved locations it also won't give me an option to navigate to an address in an email, appointment, or contact using GM!

If someone has a fix for these issues please post, otherwise it looks like I'm stuck using BB Maps.

I tried using BB Maps for a while and it failed me miserably. Some of the most basic landmarks in my area don't show up in the search results. The navigation is often flat out wrong. Google Maps includes live, updated traffic info and tells you the shortest route based on real-time traffic. There is no comparison between the two.

Download and sideload Snap. Then you have access to almost all Android apps...

Hmmm... I've had really good navigation results w/BB maps. Traffic info updates as soon as I begin a trip. The only time I revert to Google Maps (via browser) is when I need public transportation info - I'm hoping BlackBerry Maps includes that in future updates. I appreciate Google services, gmail and calendar are indispensable to me. I wish Google hadn't pulled the plug on Google Voice for BB, but they just don't seem committed to supporting BB10 at all.

I tried installing Google map by various methods but nothing worked on my classic and passport running 10.3.2 but every time it crashed,
then I finally installed Google play store and installed directly from the source including Google play services. Everything works perfectly.
Is anyone using Google Maps with BB Classic on 10.3.2?-img_20150820_091741.png

It worked right out of the box for me, no google play or google services or anything at all. What could be the difference? Did you mess with google settings on your phone before? I don't even get nag screen on my google maps and I never installed or patched anything.
