Just curious what your first impressions are regarding the increased screen size of the Classic versus the Q10. I'm really hoping the Classic's .4" larger diagonal size makes it somewhat bearable to watch a longer youtube video or movie. The Q10 screen is just not big enough for that.

Just switched from Q10 to Classic -- the Classic is much larger and the Classic screen seems much larger.

It's not only larger but also so much brighter and clearer in direct sunlight. Its LCD panel has a much better white balance than the Q10 amoled screen. Definetly a big update.

good to hear the screen size seems much bigger - that's one of my few negatives on the q10.

    So true!

I have now the Classic and could see both screens, Q10 vs. Classic, in direct comparison. I really do not get the people who complained so much about the LCD-decision .... the screen of the Classic looks much better, brighter, better colors.

I had both the Q10 and the Q5, and still have the Q5 as a backup phone.
The Q5/10 screen looks & feels unbearable and ridiculous by now.
THe Classic's screen is great. The increased size might not sound overly remarkable on paper, but makes a huge difference in real life.Having used a Passport before buying the Classic, I was concerned I would not be able to stand the smaller screen of the Classic. Thanks god this is not the case. While I miss the larger screen of the PP, the Classic seems to be the better overall package for me, and the screen is more than sufficient (unless you are a multimedia & games person).

I think it's not worth for upgrade. Q10 is enough for me.

The screen size is perfect for me. Q10 was a bit tiny.

Slightly off topic but as far as I understand both Classic and Q10 have identical resolution (720x720). So, while Classic's screen might look better the amount of content displayed on both screen would be identical.

Am I correct, can Q10 vs Classic owners confirm this?

Make sure your display settings (font size) is same in both Classic and Q10. Go to Hub, and see if number of lines of content (number of emails) displayed is identical in both despite Classic's bigger display size?

Screen is a little bigger than the Q10, and perfect imo. I came from a Galaxy S5 (screen too big), then the Q10 (screen too small), and now the Classic which is just right!

Not sure if it's 10.3 or what, but you can also adjust the size of Android apps on the Classic which is the perfect size for me since I prefer a smaller font. I usually roll around a 5 lol.

No, they've adjusted things, like made the icons smaller and things like that so more content is on screen.

It looks and feels bigger - the screen that is.

But in response to the main point. This isn't a device I would want to watch youtube on all day. I would carry a z10 or z30 around for that. The classic is great for that quick entertainment break. But past that - no good imo.

And that's only because I'm used to flipping my z10 on its side and chilling watching netflix.

I have a Q10 and am considering buying the Classic but I worry about weight and size. Not a fan of big phones that you can barely hold in one hand and feel heavy in your pocket. Can someone who's switched from Q10 to Classic give me his/her opinion?

I'd say the bigger screen space is nice but not anything major.

Strange when I moved from OS I thought the Q10 was huge. And now that I got used to the size seems small or because I mostly see huge phones around. But it's quite handy. The biggest I would go is a 4.7 device. That's the max comfortable size for my hands.
