Just wondering with the 10.3.1 SDK gone Gold and having full-blown Classic support, is there anyone able to find documentation / dig into the kit to find any confirmed specs? At the very least resolution?

720x720 was confirmed a really long time ago.

Since the gold SDK OS is older than the latest code we have our hands on, nothing is new. Results from people with pre-release Classics point to 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm 8960 (i.e. Q10).
    zephyr613 and Empyrean like this.

Thank you, thurask! It's sometimes hard to sift through all the other crappy posts here to find definitive info.

Might be left-field: but thank you for being an awesome contributor to CB -- people like you make this a viable and vibrant community.

I thought the consensus was 8960T? From the Z30?

Yeah, there have been mixed reviews, 1.5ghz vs 1.7ghz and adreno 225 vs adreno 320.

Best thing is just hope for a Z30 specs and if worst case scenario comes and we get a 2 year old specs from the Q10. At least the screen is bigger and you have a tool-belt

I'm praying fit the Z30 setup. The pixel fill rate for the Adreno 320 over the 225 is over 3x more. The performance is way way way better.

They seemed to have transitioned from the 8960 to the 8960AB on the Classic from the jump to 10.3+ internally.

Whether this is just for the radio or full chipset is yet to be determined. I have a feeling all the pre-release models had the 1.5GHz and the final will have the Z30's 1.7GHz but don't quote me on that. There have been several revisions to the hardware we've seen recently though...
