Do you guys believe the alt + back button on the track pad should make a comeback on the new update? This was a feature I LOVED on BlackBerry OS 6,7. Even though BB10 has excellent multitasking, the back + alt feature will make the Classic an even better productivity tool. What does everyone think?

What did that function do? I never used the shortcuts? But that's an interesting one!

It appears to take you back to the home screen without closing the app. I never knew about it either!

The more shortcuts the better, tons are missing from BBOS.

You do not need this shortcut: on the Classic to minimize an application coming back to the home screen, without closing it, you can press the end call button.

They're not missing - you've been requested to evolve.

There's so many ways to minimize apps, close apps, but not one efficient way to hang up the phone.

It's like using Alt + tab on a PC (windows device) goes back and forth to the most recent app you had open.

I agree with you but imagine having this "old os" shortcut on the Classic?

Yes, why not, more options is always better for users. But now you have a shorter shortcut; on the other side what about a shortcut to directly close an application?

I don't know but I'm sure BlackBerry will improve its OS very soon. They usually listen to users pretty well. Believe it or not old BlackBerry OS functions are coming back little by little. I believe the reason why old OS functions are not entirely back is because the software team from the RIM days has either been let go or resigned...
