Looked at 3 different Classics today and they all had a warm/yellow color and were not as bright as my Passport. Is this normal? The resolution looked fine for reading text compared with the Passport however.

My Classic screen is fine. If I need to change the screen:

    Settings
    Display
    Brightness
    Display Color Settings
White Balance (cool white / warm white)
    Color Saturation (subdued / vibrant)

Adjust until it looks how you like.

Yes I turned all three up and they weren't anywhere close in brilliance. Same with the color setting.

Maybe I should look at them side by side, Passport is probably a bit better for whatever reason - not enough for me to have considered until now though, HA!

It was quite noticeable. the PP set at about 60% = Classic at 100%. Maybe they aren't all like that though. I'm thinking of switching over to the Classic but its a bit disappointing.

Yes, the Classic definitely has a yellowish hue to it on neutral white balance. I have a Classic and Passport and side by side, the Classic is yellower and the Passport is whiter.

Doesn't that bother you switching between them.

They are, because Passport has a LED screen and Classic has AMOLED. It's the backlight that makes LCD look brighter and colder.

I dont believe the Classic is amoled. The q10 was though and was dim.

You're right! I indeed confused it with the Q10.

Classic doesn't have this option, unlike the Passport.
