    I think i already know the answer to this, but is there anyway to add icons to the home screen like on 9900 or do I have to swipe every time just to get to my apps?

    Some of the simple things in 9900 are completely different on BB10.. ehhh

    You can turn the home screen off from Settings, Display. Then it will only show when you have stuff running.

    Everything is different in BlackBerry 10. You'll never look back after you see what you get

    I've been using it for a few days and getting familiar with it. Some quirks for sure but it's not as bad as people have complained. I'm halfway through the 290 page user manual and will have more questions along the way.

    Any chance you guys might know about this issue with filters compared to BIS:

    Thanks bud, my wife wanted me to turn on this feature. I guess it changed in 10.3.1

    Another option would be to create folders for simplified access.. I don't prefer the de-activating of home screen cos then we can't enjoy our wallpapers.. here's an example of folders.. drag one app over the next to create these folders then name them as you prefer..
