    How on the classic?

1.) Pull up your engineering screen by either going to Settings > About > and then 'blind typing' the letters ESCR

    -or-

Simply open your browser and type escreen:// in the URL box.
    Access Escreen?-img_20160319_082427.png

BOTH Methods will invoke/open the escreen

    Access Escreen?-yyy.png

2.) Access an engineering screen code generator (you can find several trusted links here on the CB forums, including the one linked here in this CB How To article: http://m.crackberry.com/how-access-e...-blackberry-10)

3.) Referring to your escreen, enter your device PIN, OS version and uptime into the code generator. This will reveal an alphanumeric code.

4.) Return to your Engineering Screen and in the top field you'll see "BlackBerry by BlackBerry Limited"...yaddayaddayadda. So anyways, you will want to tap that field and clear it via the X
    Access Escreen?-mockit_26092014112904_edit.jpg

5.) Once field is clear type the code generated by the generator. (Note: This will be a 'blind typing' endeavor, so you will see nothing as you input the code. The code is NOT case sensitive, so pressing shift to capitalize is not needed.)

6.) Once the code is entered correctly, it will open the engineering screen and you will see options similar to these:
    Access Escreen?-img_20160319_082400.png

WARNING: Tweaketh not the options within this screen unless you know precisely what you are doing. Otherwise a brick may very well be what remains of your Classic Berry... Just a word to the wise...

It's not an app... It's the device's Engineering Screen...

Civil, this is totally going to be off topic, but do you happen to know if the latest update to the classic still break wi-fi calling? I really don't want to lose it.

I'm pretty sure that 2836 WILL break Wi-Fi Calling... I think the only OS that will run WFC via T-Mobile are 10.3.2.2789 or 10.3.2..2813

I am trying to enter the codes generated with Darcy's BlackBerry Tools (DBBT)
    https://www.blackberryhack.com/darcy...ckberry-tools/
on Blackberry Q5 and nothing happens.
I read in a post that the problem may be that the alt key is not activated in this menu to enter the numbers.
I can not find a solution.
Which is the trick to access the eScreen menu?

Can't you just follow post #2 ? Type escreen:// in the URL box of the native browser?

In BlackBerry World there is an app called ESCode 3.0 also that gives you access.

I get the code with Darcy's.
I follow the instructions above and enter the eScreen correctly and press the "x" sign.
But when I enter the code, absolutely nothing happens.
In this post it says there may be a problem with the alt key that prevents entering the number.

I follow the instructions but nothing happens either.
Are the numbers and letters entered visible?
The numbers I try to enter are not visible (the alt symbol does not appear on the top right). Uppercase letters are also not visible but lowercase letters are visible.

Pretty sure the code when entered is NOT visible and also NOT case sensitive so your last sentence is contradicting this. Someone may correct me on this?

I have tried to write the text in a processor and insert it in the box with a copy and paste. Then I pulse enter and nothing happens yet.

When you say you press the “x" sign I think this refers to the delete key, in case you are pressing the x key in error.

Hope this helps, I have nothing else I'm able to help you with on this unfortunately.

    Hey Cixert,

Don't copy and paste. The code is not visible when typing, so you just have to type it and assuming it is entered correctly the escreen will appear.

    What device do you have?

I can not access on Blackberry Q5 system 10.3.2.2876
It seems that the problem is that in the Help menu the Q5 does not activate the alt key to enter the numbers

Hmmm, odd as the Q10 and Classic definitely do. Are you certain that your code is correct?

I wonder if the 10.3.2 OS could be the reason?

Possible. Cixert, any reason you're running this and not 10.3.3?

I do not have space to install the update.
At least 2.5 GiB free space is required.
I have more than 100 apps installed that I will not delete. My free space is 0,4 GiB
