Does anyone really know or have experiences which mode is more power saving? BTW I live in a city with good 4G coverage.

4G uses more power from what I always understood. If you don't need it turn it off see how it works and let us know

4G uses more power. My classic easily makes it through a day on 4G. If your worried about battery, drop down to 3G. Your device will load data slower but battery life will be longer.

I tried 3G & 2G for the last six hours and noticed something strange: I often had just EDGE coverage instead of 3G but when I changed to 4G & 3G & 2G the device got 4G signal which isn't logical to me. 4G coverage but no 3G?

4G uses more power but it all comes down to coverage. I was surprised to see that in my office the 4G signal is stronger and my phone lasts more than on 3G. At home it's backwards . When both 4G and 3G have the same signal strength then the 3G mode saves some power.

I use the "3G and 2G" setting. This saves energy compared to 4G. In very rare cases it shows me EDGE, this happens only in the mountains when I have very bad coverage. Normally I have full 3G coverage.

Well, I`m running my Classic with the setting "3G & 2G" for three days now and I cannot recognize any difference in relation to battery life yet at all...
