Maps are working without voice.
Emails appear on BB10 seconds earlier than on OS7. Tested many times.

If you measure eMail speed in seconds, then something is already wrong.
eMail on my AT&T 9900 is as instant as texting.
Without support for the OS, in 3 yrs time the Classic could not match the 9900.

Loll what do you mean, the 9900 can barely browse the web loll
Don't forget these legacy devices need bis to work, the bb10 don't.
If they decide one day to shut the bis servers down...hoping they don't but you never know.
By the way, so browsing is still OK on the Classic???
Because you are right, it almost does not work on the 9900. Not a deal braker for me, just curious.
I wonder how much longer they will offering BIS.
I know from experience, that at least until not long ago, quite a few (arguably very influential) older top managment people were still using 9900. So I'm wondering if they may have been the reason for BIS still being offered.
Well, 3 years from now the Classic will probably browse the web as good as the 9900.
Head to the Bold forum and see how people are using Bold without BIS. It needs some work around.
I do think that BIS will be shut down eventually, but for me it's like a contingency plan that I would like to keep. Well, no one is going to do it for free, I know.

Texting is instant? This is also something wrong.

the classic is my fav phone ever. I thought after the bold 9900 it might be hard for me to get used to the classic, but it is dam amazing. Even in 2017. Sometimes i wish it could have had more ram, but that's because i have a bad habit of opening several web pages. The maps has been irritating to use when set to walk mode, as it takes a while to update in real time. I am tempted to buy keyone, but do i really need an android phone and no physical home and end keys??
Lol I remember loading that horrible Bolt browser on my Tour. All the while the iPhone had a perfectly good modern browser in 2009.
BB back then thought emails were all that needed to be great.
The BBOS browser in OS7 was a lot better though.
