    waiting for the Q10
if i were to do this, i would definately buy a 9900 and once the Q10 is launched and free of its initial bugs i would then take a call between the 9900 and the Q10

I think the Q10 would make more sense if you are into a 9900

    So do I.
I tested the Z10 for more than 12 hours. I like it in all the new things it brings... love it!, except for the keyboard. Sorry, but for texting it does not allow me to match the speed I do with my 9900 keyboard! I will wait for the Q10 in honest hope that it will not disappoint me.

Just renewed my contract for the 9900 for another 12 months.

BB10 might actually be fully functional when my new contract expires but I'm not holding my breath.

With my experience with the z10..BB10 is fully functional. Have you had a z10?

As for the keyboard I just moved from a 9900...and I can honestly say this keyboard is as good if not better.

Exactly Legal. I've still gat a year to go with my 9900 and I don't see the Z10 giving me what I get from my 9900 in terms of functionallity just yet.

I bought an unlocked z10 but after 4 days i put my sim back in my 9900 and will be patiently wait for the q10. I love BB10, i really do, but I can't use an all touch device as good and as fast as I can use my good old 9900. I can do all I need to do on a smartphone and, at the moment, i do it faster and better. I wouln't buy a new 9900 on contract now, 2 years is a lot of time. An used 9900 would be my option too, in 6 months i think BB10 will get poilished a lot, apps will be here and also the Q10 .

I just bought me a like new 9900 off eBay for $238...I will definitely be happy with it until I can get my hands on a BB10 device. I have a 9930 that I use for work, and they are awesome devices and get the job done quickly.

I have a 9930, love it -- had it for about 3years now... before that had the Storm 2. BUT yes I have ordered a z10 on VZW network. So going from a full touch, to keyboard, back to full touch... could go either way.

I've tried switching from my 9930 to top tiered touch screens, it does not work out. The Z10 would be different, but I'm sticking with the 9930 and will go with the Q10. I'm excited about BB10, HDMI, and the larger battery on the Q10.

Wish I could get a 9900 for $200 - $300 today without a contract, I would definitely get it then. T-Mobile still wants $600 for it.

It's going from a girl with a great body (keyboard) to one that is a lot smarter but lacks the "utilities". I hope nobody is offended by this, but that's what I would feel.

I got a new 9900 just over a week ago on a new 2-yeaer contract to replace my 2-year old 9780.

    Main reasons:
    • keyboard (tactile)
    • buttons (no need to remove gloves)
    • Outlook sync from PC (very important)
    • bridge functionality with PlayBook
    • BIS (lower data usage)
    • monthly cost

The more I'm reading about the z and q 10's the more I appreciate the 9900. I don't know why they would eliminate the best of the 9900's and not incorporate them into the new q10
Bottom charge contacts, convenience key,,delete email from 'hand held OnLY'option. Will have to wait and see the q10. I'm sure it will still be great. We lost some things when we went from the 9700 to the 9900,and now would not go back to the 9700. So will see.
