Hiya, the video and sound quality when watching any youtube video, or using BBC iPlayer on my Bold 9700, is absolutely awful, yet I have seen a lot of people comment saying how good the quality is?? Is there some settings that someone can point me to to improve it? Thanks

I think the ones saying the quality is good are using the player supplied in Linux distributions using Gnome's Totem Media Player.

That alone has excellent quality now since it's improvements, youtube is sketchy since they keep changing stuff around as sometimes it never works.

On the blackberry or other devices, it all depends on network upwards/downwards transfer speeds. Over wifi, everything is nice and smooth without much buffering. Over the edge or 3g, it all depends on the carrier.

YouTube quality is pretty decent for me over 3G, and I use the browser.

I wish I could watch YouTube videos through WiFI, though -- I've tried everything. But that's for another thread!
