    First of all id like to say hi great forum

    Secondly i really need yor help and wisdom , im having a major problem with my 9700 bold , after i upgraded to 0s6 and had some major probs i decided to downgrade to 0s5 during the process and error flashed up on the devices screen for a second the it completed the install but now im having signal problems and the device is randomly deleting emails / sms at will

    any suggestions of a fix would be gratefully received

    Have you tried wiping the device with BBSAK and reloading OS5?

    Also, have you tried OS 6.0.0.600? That is the newest leak for it.

    1) have you done a battery pull since then?
    2) how much memory do you have? If/When you get low, the phone often times starts deleting emails/texts etc..
    3) if these problems persists, try wiping the phone again and do a fresh install of your old OS5.

    Ive tried several battery pulls still having the same problems , its only deleteing outgoing sms but keeping incoming if that helps any

    Just google it. It's a helpful tool for managing your bb. Using bbsak you can wipe your device of everything (after backing up of course) and reload the operating system from scratch
