I was hoping that we could get a discussion going on here regarding those that are using a Bold on a different carrier. I keep reading that some, if not most, aren't getting the browser to show up. So what are your results? Were you able to fix it if you had this problem?

Not sure if it relevant but I did the device swap and I'm on BES.

Mine is from Rogers. It is unlocked now. When I put T-Mobile SIM card in, it can make phone calls, get short messages, and surf the internet with the browser. No emails for BIS or BES though.

I would guess AT&T users would have no problem with a browser since AT&T will be carrying the device shortly, and most likely has the service books for it.

T-Mobile users on the other hand, will most likely have an issue getting the BIS borwser. I'm guessing it will be just like when the Curve 8300 was first released. It was months before T-Mobile had the proper service books.
