I am relatively new to the BB community (in fact it is my first BB ). I would like to add Arabic language so I can write text messages in Arabic.

I just bought the phone last week from AT&T and unlocked it.

    Thanks in advance...

    Thanks for your help anyway.

Yes there is an oem keyboard with arabic script on it

Now, to get the arabic input, go to options --> language and input whatever, 2nd option, input language, check if u can see arabic, if not, download the multilanguage OS from ur ISP and load that into ur blackberry, refer to the NEW OS topic in 9700 forum for useful info.

    ????

for writing option of arabic input i have had many experience about it ,it is all depend on what edition of OS you are using on your BB , so below given OS of BB surely has arabic input building in system,
5.0.0.714 5.0.0.743 5.0.0.656. 5.0.0. 593 what you do just copy it and paste on google and search it out them download it , but you have to go for ( multillanguage option ) or ( all language edition )
here 656 OS i like to suggest for you , because this one most stable and long life battery compare to rest of it .

You just need to add the landuage to it. Use apploader or loader, whichever same with your blackberry's desktop software, and also make sure you have the latest or current device software installed on your computer from your carrier. Then run the loader and check off the needed language and font, let the magic happen
