I do absolutely LOVE the form factor. I've had 3 front facing keyboard phones (treo 755p, htc snap, bold 9650), and the 9900 looks beautiful from a design standpoint. HOWEVER, software isn't RIMS strongest suite and the 9650 is evidence of that. If the iPhone does in fact come to sprint as rumored and is not 4g, then it would be perfect for my sero premium plan.
I will be getting it as long as US Cellular carries it. The Torch 9860 and Curve are confirmed there and all signs point to Bold as well, but it wasn't on their most recent rebate form. If by some chance they don't carry it I'm not sure what I'd do: keep my 9650, get the Touch, get the Curve, or perhaps switch to Verizon, although that would require a 10 month wait till my wifes contract is up.

I'm "upgrading" to a Droid 3. I've been with RIM for years but it's time to move on. Maybe I'll be back but I'm tired of RIM playing catch up. The 9930 does look like a good device though. By the time RIM comes out with QNX and LTE devices I might come back. LTE isn't ready for prime time yet IMO after seeing the battery drain on my friend's Charge and Thunderbolts.
Most likely not. I still have a little over a year left on my contract with Sprint so I will remain on my 9650 until then. We'll see what's out in a year and I'll decide from there.
Not sure yet, the Bold touch 9930 is the type of Blackberry phone that I've been waiting what seems like forever for, but now that I have a 7" touch screen in the PlayBook and dealing with its "growth" .....well I just might wait on the QNX series. My contract is up in June 2012 and that should be right in line with the QNX next generation phones from RIM. I like my 9650 and it serves me well ...with all that said I don't really know what will happen once the Bold touch is in my hands at a Sprint store
I don't have an upgrade, and even if I did I really can't afford either the phone or the extra $10 a month charge on Sprint. Wish I could, but I can't.

The $10 fee is the reason I am leaving Sprint for prepaid. I plan on buying the 9900 outright and activating the service on T-Mobile once my Sprint contract is done.
"Premium data" for a BlackBerry, what a frickin' joke!

It's a bit harder to do that with a five line family plan we were gonna go to TMo, but with the AT&T buyout looming...

I think yes. Because I switch phones yearly and I'm debating whether I'll get the Bold Touch or the Monaco. I'll love both but I can only afford one of the two. (Without contract) But whatever gets release first I'll probably get that.

Now might actually be the perfect time to do that then as I've heard AT&T would honor the TMo contracts they inherit once a merger actually goes through.
My upgrade isn't available for sometime but this phone looks amazing, my boyfriends upgrade is up before mine his is in September, I'm sure he'll be waiting for this phone to come out and get it.
My contract is up in Feb/12 so that will be enough time for user reviews and issues to come to light. As long as my 9650 is kicking, I'm a happy BB owner. If the 9930 looks THAT much better, I'll bite.
