    I honestly don't think the 9000 is getting it. I'm honestly not that upset about it either. As long as the 9700 gets it, I'll be happy. Plus i plan on getting the latest BB in the near future anyway.

    I would hope that 9700 would get it! Right now if no new awesome blackberrys come out that's what I am getting in Oct. for my upgrade!

    This video shows a youtube application. Not sure if that's already available for the Storm, or not?

    I think BB need something like that (despite it's mostly for "corporate users").

    I know it's only been available for 5 months, but I'm going to be hesitant to "upgrade" to the 9700 when I'm eligible in July or anytime thereafter, even if the 9800 slider or the Dakota aren't out.

    I have a colleague who bought the 9000 in September -- just 7 months ago, a couple of months before the 9700 came out -- and he's stuck with it for another year. I wouldn't want to be in the same boat with the 9700.

    BBleaks reported he/they had information stating OS6 would only go to 9700 and the Storm 2 models. And yesterday we were told Webkit would only work with OS6 and not as any type of leaked App to add to OS5.

    Looks like OS5 is as far as we go. Maybe if we are lucky we will get some type of OS5/OS6 hybrids.

    Well, that sux..

    But i'm still probably gonna be sticking to 9000.. I just don't find 9700 to be worth 3x the 9000..

    I'm not buying phones when i'm up for an upgrade.. But maybe (just maybe..), I will go for the "used but mint 9700" in summer if 6.0 proves to be a "true upgrade" to current 5.0.

    After watching the 6.0 clip...i have mixed feeling about this os. It's a nicer interface.....however, it doesnt "wow" me like it does to many others

    this is a big reason why my tenure with the 9000 will be coming to an end come this may. it really looks like rim wants to move on from the bold 9000.but you can't blame them. they moved on from the 8800 series which had a large size too.the 9650 is the bold cdma holders had wishing for when the 9000 hit gsm. so rim answered their prayers. i just think rim will keep the 9700 form factor on the next bold successor. this being that the 9700 is the flagship phone. having 6.0 on the 9000 could have meant that rim planned on keeping the 9000 form factor for future devices. but this is not the case any longer.

    This being why I am leaving BB and RIM. The 900 is the first BB liked due to its size. Now with this form factor gone, I will be leaving too. Just over a year with BB/RIM and My 9000....

    @hurricane.gio: I feel your pain..

    But still, it looks like my BB addiction has just gone too far..

    I'm not sure I could be as happy with Pre / iPhone / Nexus One.. as I am with Bold 9000.. (and i've tried 'em all).

    I am also leaving BB/RIM this summer after 2 years I grew very tired and frustrated with their browser and they seem to be way behind the new phones that are already here. Too little too late.
