Why im switching from iPhone 4s back to Blackberry Bold 9900
Currently I use an iPhone 4s. There were many reason I use the phone, including the voice feature where I can add events to my calender and have that event sync to my iPad and MacBook without even pressing a button.
I have had the iPhone from about 6 months now and am just board with it. The sad thing is.....I foolishly sold my Bold 9900 after I got the iPhone. The good news is that I just ordered a new Bold 9900 from ATT. it will be here Monday.
The iPhone does a lot, however, it is nearly impossible to type business e mails on (which is what my phone primarily is used for) without a type-o or without having a word pop up in auto correct that you have no intention of using. As well, I am unable to communicate with the senior partners where I work over BBM. They always have to use their laptops to send me a message over Apples iMessage.
My company uses Blackberry Enterprise, and I use an iPhone. If you link your own device to their server they will pay part of your monthly bill. Sadly with the iPhone I can not take advantage of that.
I have been a loyal Blackberry user since my first BB device, the Blackberry 7230 (TMobile). I loved the track wheel, the QWERTY key board and its shape, how it just seemed to form to your hand, and the E-Mail....MY GOD THE E MAIL!!! SO ADDICTING! I was able to shoot off e mails and send documents in a flash, I have a hard time doing that with iPhone as it seems to take forever to figure out how to attach a document to an E-mail.
I feel that there has been a push to call blackberry users "uncool" or "behind the times". This seems to be a hidden venture that both Android and Apple have taken on together.
I believe that this can be proven by reading the below link.

When traveling the blackberry seems much more durable to me than the iPhone. The apps, the feel, the idea that what you are holding has helped executives around the world create vast empires of money and industry. I believe that iPhone at this point can only claim that it helps people get music faster..or log into facebook quicker....perhaps im wrong...if your an iPhone fan.
While attending business meeting or conferences, I am looked at as being a young hot shot kid who is new. Busting out the white iPhone doesn't help while all my counterparts are using Blackberry, the company uses Blackberry, and even our company subsidiaries all use blackberry.
In retrospect it appears that Blackberry is trying to reinvent themselves. I will buy the "Q10" when it comes out, but for now I will use my Bold 9900 and love every piece of it. I just have to get through the hard part.....WAITING FOR IT TO GET HERE!!!

I have been thinking of doing the same although I only had a curve 8530 before my iPhone 4S. I absolutely loved the curve even though it didn't have all the bells and whistles. IMHO, it was just a great communication device. So fast, and yes the emails are super fast. I terribly miss the physical keyboard, BBM and how everything on the BB just works so well. I hope you enjoy your move :)
