Anyone having issues backing up to BlackBerry Protect? My Bold 9930 on VerizonWireless last successfully backed up to Protect on February 14th. After that, both the automatic and the manual backups have failed, with the manual backup showing the message "Backup failed: The BlackBerry Protect service is temporarily unavailable."

I know the 9930 is old school and I'm pretty sure BlackBerry doesn't even allow OS10 devices to backup to Protect anymore.

BB Protect appears to be working OK for me on the 9900, here in the UK. According to the app it ran the automated cycle last night. I do however have the 'Only Backup over WiFi' box ticked.

I also have the "Only Back Up over Wi-Fi" checked.

I last did a back-up on a BB Storm on the 22nd so server is good. May want to try hard reset?

Thanks moonhacker! I did a Full Power Off, pulled the battery for 10 seconds, started the 9930, opened Protect, saw it downloading some info BlackBerry, and few minutes later we had a good backup. Easy solution, just one I had resorting to.

The funny thing is: The last good backup was February 14th, but I did a few battery pulls February 16th as the 9930 was acting wonky.
