Well, I had an issue with my Black case, so I went a little crazy and bought this housing off eBay.

Reputable seller, claimed OEM, but I doubt it.

Quality is good, keys feel great, fitment was good.

I swapped the charging tabs, still works in my cradle.

I also put an orange trackball in while I had it apart.

this housing came with a white lens, but I can't figure out how to separate the LCD. Any ideas? It would really complete the swap.

A few things I have learned today:

1. If you don't like the way the LCD looks trimmed in black, don't buy it. I just broke my LCD trying to get the black one off..

2. It does not come with the clip for the cover, you have to carry over your silver one, or get a black one.

3. it gets a lot of attention.

Ive just done the exact same thing.... i wish i had read this post before hand lol. all the lcd replacements ive found online already come with the black lens attached so im no doubt going to have the same problem with them aswell....

its just occured to me... i replaced my screen on my ipod touch not so long ago and I had to steam the screen away from the lens to replace it..... so im guessing its the exact same thing with this.... wish I'd remembered that lol
