Pocket! I used needle nose pliers and removed the clip from the holster...actually would like a leather sleeve like my 8330 and can even jam the 9930 in the old sleeve - but alas, too tight, so maybe I'll give the old one a bath and slide the Bold in like a wet pair of leather pants fit to form!
Holster (OEM one came with it), but once Otter Box defender get released to BestBuy Canada, I will use the belt clip and that case for it.
The only downside is that I would love to use the charging pod at night, which is a problem with all the cases. So I may wait for Seidio to release their case+battery+charging pod for this. Please email [email protected] to add your vote for their market research on if they should make one for the 9900.
Guys, don't carry your phone in your pocket. Blackberrys are some of the worst phones out there for radiation and the last thing you want is that radiation to be concentrated near your spuds.
If you have a bag, carry it in that, because the radiation intensity diminishes considerably when just an inch or two away. I wear a messenger bag pretty much everywhere when I'm out and about and the phone fits perfectly into a little diagonal pocket I have in the flap. Since it's on the top side of the bag furthest away from my hip, I consider it to be quite a healthy location.
Also, since the radiation is emitted more strongly out of the back of the phone, I always put it back side outwards in my bag.
You can get cases that reduce radiation and they work very well. The Pong cases are the best, trouble is you can't get one for the new Bolds yet. They have them for 9700/9780 though: Pong Research - Products: Blackberry cases
I use my OEM holster all the time, this where the blackberry shines the most IMO. Whenever I get an alert of a message, I put it out of my holster and the message is on the screen, read it and pop it back in. No swiping, unlocking, opening of apps, etc. I love this feature the most.
